Credit Report Dispute Letter #2 (View Letter)
You sent dispute letters to credit reporting agencies asking to have inaccurate information corrected but so far they failed to respond.
Given the millions of inquiries and disputes over personal credit reports, it's not uncommon for your request to get lost in the shuffle or to get somehow moved to the bottom of the pile. When that happnes, consider sending a follow up letter that reminds the credit reporting agency of your first dispute letter and that you are still waiting for a reply.
Sending a follow up dispute letter demonstrates to the CRA that you plan to be persistent in making sure your personal credit profile and credit history remain accruate at all times. It also shows that you are willing to give the CRA the benefit of the doubt about their failure to respond to your first letter.
IMPORTANT! Accurate and timely information cannot be removed from your personal credit reports! Use the free sample letter below only if you believe the information you are disputing is inaccurate AND you've already sent an initial dispute letter. Credit report dispute letter: initial
